What an amazing Gift!

God desired to restore his relationship with us. We were incapable of doing it in our sin. But God had the plan. He sent his only Son to earth so that I could know and understand God better. Then He sent his son to be the perfect necessary sacrifice for my sins. Then he overcame the powers of sin and darkness and raised Jesus back to life again. So that I could have life without condemnation from my sin! So that I could live life fully here and even more so one day in heaven! I have a relationship with God. Jesus is my personal Savior. He is my friend. He is everything I need or want and so much more!

 John 1:1-5  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

I pray that one day my children will KNOW that light in their lives and hearts. I share it with them every chance I get. We celebrate in rememberance so that we will never forget the amazing things God has done and so that we can teach those things to our children.
