July 4th in Waxhaw

The other thing we did for the 4th was go to Waxhaw to visit with Grandma and Grandpa and to see the Waxhaw Parade. It was a beautiful day and lots of people turned out for it. We even go to see a train roll through town right in the middle of the parade!

Gabe said he liked the train but didn't like the horn it blew coming through town.

Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa

We went down to Waxhaw the day after Christmas to spend some quality time with Rebecca's parents and let the kids (well, Olivia anyway) open their gifts.

Olivia got a bunch of things, including a Larry t-shirt and a Slinky! Boy, does she love that Slinky.

Gabe got himself a little Santa hat and Grandma pulled out a couple of neat floor toys for him to play with.

Even Sarah got a bath and a treat!

Boy, Sarah looks big in this picture...ok, well, she is big.
